Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Rich, I went to the yellow pages and the first ad was of your competitor, it was a double page ad, that is what made me call them. I called them and no one was there to take my call at that time. Well needless to say I turned the page and there was Precision, who answered my call right away and scheduled someone the next morning.The service man they send was on time and explained everything to me. The work was well done and in a timely manner.

Superb Service! I came home for lunch about 1 pm. As the garage door closed the spring broke. Big noise. Big Problem. I called Precision. An appointment was promised between 2 & 4 pm the same day! Michael arrived at 3 and went to work. In an hour the door was better than new as Michael adjusted the door & rollers, greased the rails and replaced the spring. When my wife got home the only way she knew there was a problem is because I told her. Terrific service at a very fair price. Couldn't be happier...

I chose Precision Door Service based on reviews in Angie's List and I'm very glad I did. Scheduling was quick and easy and they even sent an email with the name of Technician who would be coming to my house. Danny showed up right on-time, was reviewed the problem, gave me options and a recommended solution, quickly completed the work and cleaned-up. He also gave me several tips on maintenance. Called Precision on Wed. afternoon and Danny appeared at 9 Thurs. a.m.. We have had constant trouble with our double door springs and alignment. I always sounded like a train as it opened and closed. Danny did a complete overhaul of our system in a few hours and we now have an almost silent very smooth operating door. Thanks folks! Danny was knowledgeable, mannerly and very friendly. My garage door opener broke Friday morning when I was leaving for work. I called Precision at 9:00 requesting Michael who had worked for me last year. He was scheduled for 4:00, arrived at 3:45 and was finished by 4:45. He expained what was wrong and showed me the broken part he had to replace. I d0 not know how Precision and Michael could have improved on their service.

Your technician, Danny, was superb! First, he was on time and that counts a lot. He was courteous, efficient and showed technical expertise in the repair of my garage door. When he first told me what the problem was I expected a couple of hours work to be done; he was through in about 35 minutes. He also gave me some pointers in owner maintenance that I could do to improve the performance of my door. Needless to say, I will not hesitate to call you again if needed. And I will request Danny!
