Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

This review was an "E-mail Submission". Sometimes our customers send us emails to let us know more about how we performed. With their permission these are posted to the site.

This review was a "Postal Mail Submission". Our customers send us letters through traditional postal mail reviewing our performance. When they do, we transcribe it and place it on our website.

Superb Service! I came home for lunch about 1 pm. As the garage door closed the spring broke. Big noise. Big Problem. I called Precision. An appointment was promised between 2 & 4 pm the same day! Michael arrived at 3 and went to work. In an hour the door was better than new as Michael adjusted the door & rollers, greased the rails and replaced the spring. When my wife got home the only way she knew there was a problem is because I told her. Terrific service at a very fair price. Couldn't be happier...

My garage door opener broke Friday morning when I was leaving for work. I called Precision at 9:00 requesting Michael who had worked for me last year. He was scheduled for 4:00, arrived at 3:45 and was finished by 4:45. He expained what was wrong and showed me the broken part he had to replace. I d0 not know how Precision and Michael could have improved on their service.

Mike did a great job. My only comment is that we were told on my initial inquiry that if we purchased the spring and had the repair done, the service call fee would be waived. I was not here to catch it, but we were charged the $69 fee. I have called to address this issue and spoke with Elizabeth who said she was checking into it and would let me know. I spoke with her on June 10 and haven't heard back. Thanks.

For several years, our garage door had intermittent problems. When a bracket broke I decided not to return to my "go-to" local company that had tried to solve this problem and after $400, didn't. My Precision technician was thoughtful, informative, and professional. Hallelujah-He solved the problem. It required some major repairs that were expensive, but it is so nice to have it fixed. It is frustrating to know that we lived with it for several years believing that it just couldn't be repaired. Precision is now my "go to" company.
