Precision Garage Door has always been dedicated to bringing you REAL, fair and honest reviews. We receive reviews from our customers through many different mediums. To make our reviews more transparent, we have decided to reveal how exactly these reviews get here.

Types of Reviews


This review was a "Report Card Submission". We ask our customers to fill out a "report card", like the one pictured below, at the completion of every job. The star rating is an average of how the technician performed in knowledge, promptness, courtesy, ability to finish the job quickly and in one visit, clean up of the job site and overall quality of the finished work. To add transparency to our business we make these public on our website.


At the completion of every job we ask our customers to review our business on our website. Their comments are reviewed manually for inappropriate language and then posted to the website unedited.

This review was a "Telephone Submission". Often after work is completed we conduct a telephone survey to ensure complete satisfaction with the work we did. With permission, Comments from these calls are transcribed and displayed on our website.

My garage door was stuck in the open position and the gears were not turning. I called Precision at 3pm and by 4:30 Danny was there to help. It immediately diagnosed the problem and quoted me a price on the spot. The gears were stripped. He had the part on his truck and by 5:00 my door was fixed and the work area totally cleaned up. That's what I call good service. I highly recommend Precision.

I called for service at about 9 AM and by 11 AM a servace rep. (Danny) was at my house fixing my problem. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and polite. I called Precision at 10:30 on Saturday morning; the young woman who took the information was very professional, and informed me that Danny would be able to come betw. 12 and 2 that day, and would call when he was on his way. She also asked for my e-mail address so as to send me a confirmation. The confirmation showed photos of the technicians, what the truck would look like, and how the tech. would be dressed. The e-mail even cautioned about letting strangers into the house! Danny called at 11:45; gave me a quote over the phone; was here at noon, and done by 12:30. He installed a stronger, better spring than the original, and oiled the door so it is much quieter. Final cost was the same as quoted. I have already recommended Precision to several friends. I wish other companies I deal with were as professional.

Advertising pluses: service 24/7, weekend/evening appointments, promise to speak to a "real live person," listing of brands serviced, discounts for seniors and AAA membership, website with tech photos and bios (a first on websites I've seen and a real plus). Danny, my technician, was professional and just a very nice guy; he gave me some maintenance tips and left his phone number in case I had any other problems. He diagnosed my burned-out safety sensor immediately and installed a replacement.
