I am writing this letter to let you know about the fine service I received from your company on January 14, 2009.
On that day I found my garage door opener did not work. The motor ran but the door did not move. Since it is a Sears Craftsman unit, I called the Sears repair center. They said that the soonest they could come to look at it was in 10 days.
Since I previously had excellent service for a broken garage door spring from your company on September 20, 2007, I decided to call Precision Door Service again. Your office person said that a technician could be at my home in one-half hour.
Your technician, Will, arrived a half-hour later. He immediately diagnosed the problem as stripped gears, and said he had a kit to rebuild the unit with him. He installed the kit and the door worked fine.He also pointed out some other problems with my door and told me that they ought to be fixed soon, without putting any pressure on me to fix them right then. I asked him if he had the materials and time to fix them, which he did. The door is now in excellent condition and shouldn't need any more repairs for some time.
The whole experience from the time I called your office until Will completed the work at what I considered to be a fair price, was very gratifying. I have been meaning to write this letter since that day and just never got around to doing so before now. I apologize for being so slow to acknowledge your fine performance. I believe in these days of hard economic times and frequent poor attention to quality service, that fine work should be recognized.
I won't hesitate to recommend your company to any of my friends who have a problem with their garage doors. In fact I had already done so based on the fine service you provided back in 2007.
Keep up the good work!
